SMART, PEOPLE CENTRIC AND CONNECTED CITIES
As the world has endured the turbulences of the last few years, and keeps preparing for the next one, we need to keep transforming the spaces we live in.
Digital technologies connect people, information, and urban elements, allowing smart cities to function as a single organism to improve the quality of life. Considering the climate emergency, urban solutions are not merely smart, but also sustainable.
Tech-driven innovations optimize energy consumption in a large scope of applications from mobility to urban planning and waste management. Significant efforts to make the infrastructure transparent and secure will ensure a citizen-oriented approach to city management, expanding community collaboration, inclusivity, and creativity. As cities get smarter, they redefine and readapt urban ecosystems to new ways of functioning and living for citizens.
Smart Cities are built on a number of layers that interconnect and determine how a city functions overall. Mixing tech applications, data and public use, we’ve created an ecosystem that keeps transforming and adapting not only to citizens’ needs, but also to emerging innovations that have the potential to simplify urban planning.
It is around these forward looking topics our agenda is built to guide you building up smart, sustainable and resilient cities of the future. And it all equals to better quality of life in our modern environments.
Welcome to SMART CITY NORDIC 2023!
